    Can't get rid of "Outside Regular Trading Hours" warning

    Hi,

    I'm using NT7 beta21 with IB TWS 906.8 and I am trying to get rid of the constant warnings in the NT log like this:

    28/09/2010 11:20:00 Default Order Event Warning:Attribute 'Outside Regular Trading Hours' is ignored based on the order type and destination. PlaceOrder is now being processed. 2109
    I thought I had set all the right config options in IB TWS to inhibit this warning, but it still keeps appearing.

    Hi adamus, I believe this is just a default warning you would see - which config option in TWS are you referring to here?

      Hi Bertrand,

      the point is: I don't want to see it. I have enough bad news in the log & traces without irrelevant stuff like this.

      I go into IB TWS config and search on "outside". The option is Order Presets -> Forex -> Timing -> "Allow order to be activated, triggered or filled outside of regular trading hours"

      I check it - doesn't stop.

          I notice on the IB account connection configuration there is an option to check "Trigger after hours" and the help says

          Enable this if you want stop orders to trigger outside of standard trading hours.
          This will only work if you also have “Allow triggering outside of regular trading hours” enabled in TWS (Configure > Order > Stop Trigger Method menu)
          I obviously have this checked, but the directions to the appropriate config menu are wrong. Must be out of date.

            Correct, thank for spotting - it's now located in the TWS Order Timing config options - will forward it to update the connection guide.

              OK. I have that option checked for forex. Did you find out whether the warning is unavoidable despite checking that option in TWS?

                The warning will be issued. If you have it setup though you should still be able to have your order processed correctly.

                  Yes, I've got everything set up for correct execution.

                  Can you put it onto the list of enhancements that this warning shouldn't make it into the logs when I have checked the option to allow it?
