I run TWS with NT and trade SPY. Past 2 days I have noticed that when I enter a trade it autmatically puts the pnL at -1 pt SPY. The entry price is correct and when I exit all is fine however the -1 pt pNL is an annoying glitch. Is there anyway to fix this? I tried restarting NT/etc. Thanks

Figured out the issue. It did this right as I set the comm to $1 for SPY than it added a -1 imminently as I entered a trade to the pNL, however it still didn't calculate commissions correctly in the account performance tab. Seems there is a bug with the commission calculations in NT7 for equities? I had no issues with commissions with futures so not sure. Thanks

Basically, I set NT to do $1 commission for 100 shares of SPY. When I would enter a trade long or short SPY, the pNL would immediately show -1 point. I.e. $100 loss. Now of course this was incorrect but it for some reason added -1 pt loss to the trade instead of - $1 for commission as it should have. Once trade closed everything was fine, the entry price and exit were correct but while in the trade the pnL calculations were incorrect by -1 pt.

YoungOne,
Thanks for providing those settings.
When initiating a trade for 1 long on SPY with your commission settings in place, I'm seeing PnL reporting start at 0.
When you saw the incorrect PnL figure, was this a trade in the Sim101 account?
If so, can you tell me which commission settings are in place for Stocks - SimulatorKyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

YoungOne,
Thanks for the clarification.
I just tested again on my end (in the Sim101) account with the correct quantity, but am still seeing PnL reported as 0 as I enter the position.
Could you please add the 1/100 commission settings to Stocks - Simulator, then try placing the same trade in the Sim101 account? Where does PnL start?KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service
