Alert Window not restored properly.

    Alert Window not restored properly.

    When I change an Alert Window layout and save it as a part of a workspace, it is restored later to its original configuration.
    My layout changes are :
    • Removing "Priority" column
    • Arranging the 3 additional columns.


    When restored , "Priority" appears , layout is different than saved.

    Thank you for your post.

    I have teted this on my end and was unable to reproduce the issue described.

    Can you please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you currently have installed by going to Help-->About. If you do not have NinjaTrader 7.0.0.21 installed please upgrade at the link I have provided below.



    If the issue persists please use the steps I have provided below to see if the issue persists:
    • Arrange your Market Analyzer window the way you would like it saved
    • File
    • Workspaces
    • Save Workspace
    • Exit NinjaTrader
    • Select "No to All"
    • Restart NinjaTrader

    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

      The issue is on Beta 20. I'll rather live with it, seeing more substantial problems with 21 , according to postings in this forum.

        I reported this one before, specifcally Alerts Window column width persistance with saved workspaces. It is still an issue (though a minor one) in Beta 21.

          Are you able to reproduce the issue with the steps outlined in post #2?

            Yes Christopher I am able to reproduce. The Workspace is attached.

            Specifically, I resize the Time, Instrument, and Priority columns of the Alerts window so that I can see the full time, and those changes do not persist between sessions.

            Let me know if you want me to try anything on my end. I have that issue on Win7 Pro, Win7 Entererprise, and Server 2008 R2.

              I was able to reproduce the issue on my end. Our development team is aware of the issue and this will be addressed at a later date within NinjaTrader 7.
