Historical Data Manager - Download Error

I was downloading a folder of futures instruments (for Sept 1 to Sept 15, Last data type for Tick+Minute+Day, and it hung, receiving this error:

I admit to having the wrong month on the DX contract, but I subscribe to a definition of "idiot proof" that says this still should not happen (no, I'm not originally a microsoft user.)

And as you can see, NinjaTrader is stuck with the "Saving" message at the bottom of the Control Center screen.

Furthermore, the "Abort" button on the lower-right corner of the doesn't complete when it's pressed after the above circumstances have occurred...



I've seen these types of errors a couple of times before with earlier betas, but I still don't know how to force it to happen on demand.

This occurred with NinjaTrader 7.0 Beta 21.

Hello KBJ,

Can you please check if your virus scanner, online backup tool or any other application locks files in the (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder. NinjaTrader will need to write to this folder.

Please make sure to configure your virus scanner, online backup tool or other application so that none of the files in directory above would be locked or remove that directory from the scanning list.

Subsequently check if the error recurs when loading historical data.
