Lines on charts

Since B21 the lines I draw on charts seem to appear randomly. I will draw a line, switch to another instrument, switch back to the original and the lines I drew will not be there. If I try click back to another instrument and return again to the original often enough they will eventually appear again.

I have tested this on my end and was unable to reproduce the issue your described. Please forward me your current Workspace and Chart Template used so I may attempt to test with your current setup.

Workpsaces can be found in Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->Workspaces.

Over the weekend I decided to give NT another chance. I deleted everything that had to do with NT, and re-installed and re-created all my stock lists, templates, workspaces, etc.

Drawings have been fine most of the day, but just now I had another line disappear, this time it was an arrow. If I click back and forth among instruments on the MA the line will eventually show up again.

Is this object a global draw object? Are you saying changing instruments will make the object appear on a different instrument all of a sudden? Where exactly is the object drawn on? Price panel? Indicator panels? Both? Where are the object's anchor points in relation to the visible x-axis range?

Here is an example.

I drew this arrow on SQM by pressing ctrl+f2.

Now - using the MA linked to the chart, I click on another instrument (I clicked on RIG), then click back on SQM. The arrow is no longer there.

I click on RIG. I click back on SQM. Now the arrow is there again.

Sometimes it takes several clicks back and forth until the arrow re-appears.

Let us try and eliminate potential factors here. Can you please remove the secondary series on the chart along with all indicators and see if it still reproduces? Thanks.

Good call.

I removed everything and it worked fine.

I added the second series and it started disappearing again.
