Error on updating DB

Hello,

While migrating data from NT6.5 to NT7, there is an error popup as below and migrating can't go on. I have tried to copy some indicators and strategies from respective folders of NT6.5 to NT7 before migrating again. But still it has this error. Any other clues to fix it. Thx.

Make sure to follow the instructions below 'Migrating NinjaScript Files' to migrate NinjaScript files.

Did you migrate the database file from NinjaTrader 6.5 to 7 as well?

Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Repair DB. Does the error message persist? If so, during what action do you receive the error message?

The error still persists. What's worse is that after migrating and error message pop up, the NT 7 will become unusable, e.g. all instruments become empty etc. Then I have to reinstall again.

Now I manually rebuild up my NT 7 bit by bit, including workspaces, charts etc. without "migrating data from 6.5 to 7". All look good to me and I began to use it to trade, except that those tick data saved in the "db" folder of NT6.5 (NinjaTrader.mdb & data folder) can't be used.

Do you have some other way to copy (or other way) those data manually to my NT 7 without going thru the "migrating data from 6.5 to 7"?

You could export historical tick data in NinjaTrader 6.5 and subsequently import it in NinjaTrader 7. Please see the links below for instructions.
