Issue after installing Beta 7.21

After installing 7.21 lost all my indicators setup and when tried to re-import I get the following message "You have custom NinjaScript files on your PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript Archive File."
How do I resolve this issue?

Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies- not just one.

• Open NinjaTrader
• From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator
• Select an indicator and double click on it.
• A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.
• At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations.
• From there you have the option to remove the indicator or debug it.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I do not have "Edit NinjaScript menu item" that you mentioned under Tools menu. So can not proceed with the suggested solution. Any idea why I do not have the suggested menu?

Tekie, some licenses do not allow for editing of NinjaScripts. Please access the below link to register and receive one of our free licenses:

Once received the steps above and once you've got it working correctly you can re-enter your own license key.

indicator compatibiity problems

Had the same problems as Tekie.
Could not find the custom indicators with problem(s) in it (have too many of them and am not literate enough to modify them)
So the only solution was: a complete fresh NT 7 installation and sebsequently adding indicators again that worked.
Not so happy with this NT7 revision because of that.
It would be advisablethat indicators with troubles are indicated via a scan of the indicator set on your computer after a NT7 update with a new version, that makes it clear and easy for everybody. Such a feature would also be helpful in the future.

Indicator plots with beta 21

My indicator plots do not show correctly after back testing a strategy on an instrument with multiple symbols with beta 21. when a back test a single symbol using the strategy analyzer, the indicator plots show correctly (same as previous versions). However, all of the indicator plots overlay each other rather than coming out on separate lines when back testing an instrument with multiple symbols.

Do you have any ideas?
