rejected orders because of exceeding total value limit

    Hello,

I am using my live IB account with NinjaTrader. I must have configured something wrong. My problem is: now when I enable a strategy (on FGBL 12-10) it initializes a stop order for 1 contract, because in the strategy I am in long position. But this order gets rejected by the TWS , and I get an error saying the total value exceeds the limit. The strange thing is that this has never happened before and I can still buy manually that 1 contract (with charttrader or in TWS directly), and it has a price of about 133 EUR which is far below the 100000 USD limit. But when the strategy generates that order for one contract somehow the price becomes around 133000 EUR and my order gets rejected. Also ninjatrader keeps trying to submit that order, and I keep getting that error messages so I can barely disconnect from TWS.
This has never happened before, and never happens with my simulated trading account in IB, nor with manual orders, so I must have misconfigured something.
I have checked, and my Preset,Order,API settings are the same in my simulated and in my live TWS.

Here's a screenshot of the error message:

Can you please tell me what settings should I check? I've searched the forum, but nobody seems to have the same problem as me.

    Thanks!

For what QTY is the contract submitting for with the strategy as I believe this is possible where the issue is.

      Hello Vides2012,

It seems the issue is related to the value you're submitting orders to.

Can you include trace and log files for a day where this has occurred. These are found in:
      My Documents\NinjaTrader\trace
      My Documnents\NinjaTrader\log.

Files are labeled according to the day in .yyyymmdd.txt format

      Let us know as well:
The line of code that's submitting the order. (The specific Exit() or SetStopLoss() statement)
Any custom instrument settings or are you using default? Check Tools > Instrument Manager > Edit FGBL and check Interactive Brokers symbol mapping.

        Hi again,

Thanks for the replies! As I have found out that there are different preset settings for futures, options, stocks, etc I realized that I must have set the same total value limit for all the types (100000 USD). Unfortunately the total value in case of a futures product is calculated by multiplying the price with the "point value", in my case 123 EUR * 1000.Thus my order with 1 contract reached the limit. This was the source of the strange behavior.
