    Hi Michael,

    Thank you for your post.

The only way to accomplish this would require that NinjaTrader 7 be reinstalled completely. On the first occasion that NinjaTrader 7 runs, it will ask if you would like to transfer settings from version 6.5 - instrument settings would be one of the items which is migrated.

        michi08,

This should work. Were you prompted to migrate your settings when starting NT 7?

          Not when I reinstalled today.

I was when I installed the first time, 2 weeks ago and i migrated some instruments. But I add. more instruments until today. Now I understand the NT 7 better, I would like too change to the 6.5.

Maybe the NT7 to not anymore ask me to migrate settings, because it was one time installed and somewhere it wrote this down. When I reinstalled today it has again my first own writen instruments.

            Hi Michael,

Thanks for the clarification - by the sound of it, your reinstallation was only partial. Due to this, the migration wizard did not trigger when you restarted NT.

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. Note that all custom settings will be deleted as part of this process:
            1. Close all running applications.
            2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
            3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
            4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.
            5. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
            6. Reboot your machine.
            7. Once these steps are completed, download NT 7 from the link below: Download

Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

Yes, it worked, now NT7 imported all instruments from NT 6.5. It was # 4 "Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.", this I did not delete the first times.
Also I runned the register cleaner from CCleaner, there where also a few lines connected to NT7.

              Ok, thanks a lot
              Michael
