previous Trades in chart when you load a strategy

I got a strategy from a 3rd part and when I load this startegy in the chart, it displays previous trades, entries/exits, which is very helpful.
my other coder says this is not possible to show trades without running the strategy, Can you guide as to how to make this happen. is this a special feature in NT7 which does it.

kumaresh11, unfortunately I'm not aware of a special NT7 feature for this, you would need to be connected and have a strategy enabled to show it's past trades per default.

so if you LOAD any strategy in chart, should it show previous trades by default in NT7?? but it doesnt for all strats I have even when it is enabled. I do have "text and marker" enabled

So strategies might not call any OnBarUpdate() on historical data - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...historical.htm

NinjaScript strategies calling ATM's can't also for example not be backtested at all.
