Multiple broker connection data fails

Hello,

I am connecting to 3 brokers for data

Order:

1. MB Trading - Forex data only available

2. Ameritrade - Equity data

3. IB - Future data

The only data I get is forex data from MB Trading, equities and future data are not pulled

I get the following error...

9/3/2010 10:31:08 AM Default Error on loading chart data for 'SSO Default': Error (errServerSideNotEntitled) on loading historical data

Hello tommyjames,

Please note that only when the first connection does not support a certain instrument type (future, stock, forex and index), NinjaTrader will retrieve real-time data from the second connection. MBTrading supports all three instrument types (forex, equity and futures), so it will retrieve all real-time data from MBTrading. I have a FX account at MB with no other data. I spoke with MB support yesterday verifying that I have no other data and have tested it within their applications.

Yes, however because MBTrading supports all three instrument types in NinjaTrader, real-time data is being retrieved from MBTrading.

You could use different connection sequences, such as IB - TD AMERITRADE - MBTrading.

Well I want to get my forex data from MB, I want to get my stock data from ameritrade and future data from IB. If I connect to IB first then it will take over for all data.

Unfortunately this is not supported when using these connections.

You could connect to TD AMERITRADE first and IB second, which will retrieve equity data from TD AMERITRADE and futures and forex data from IB.
