    Hi,
    Has anyone else experienced a situation with NT7 v20 where the Control/Orders tab updates ES or NQ price real time but a chart of ES or NQ will not update price real time?

    On the other hand, the Forex and Equity Orders tab and charts do update together real time.

    I have worked with Ninja Support for several days and they have not been able to replicate the problem or offer a solution. The search has been extensive but the problem continues. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Watchtrac,

    Can you please check what session template is selected in the chart. Likely, it has a session template selected that excludes the current time.

    Please set the session template to 'Default 24/7' in the Data Series menu and the chart should receive real-time data.

      Chart price will not update real time.

      Hi Jason,
      Thanks for engaging my problem.
      I changed the session template to 24/7 and at the same time changed the session to 24/7 in the Instrument panel and reloaded ES to Defaults - rebooted Ninja and the ES charts did update real time. The problem then was that the Control/Orders tab then did not update and said n/a on Bid, Asked, Last when I switched the Order Name to ES.

      I then discovered that if I have the Orders tab set to a name other than ES when I reboot that the charts will update on 24/7 session. When I click on ES from the drop down on the Orders tab I first get all n/a. If I click to another instrument and then back to ES - ES will start updating on the Orders tab but then stop updating on the charts.

      Both the Orders Tab and the chart will not update price real time at the same time on ES 24/7 session. Forex and Equities are fine.

      To me it seems fairly certain that there is a bug somewhere - unless I am doing something else wrong - which is always possible.

        Watchtrac,

        On my end the Control Center prices update as well as the charts regardless of what I select first or second. What data provider are you using? Can you send us the workspace you are using?

          Resolution of Futures Chart not Updating Price

          Hi Josh,
          Sorry it took so long to reply but I wanted to be able to add something of value to the thread before replying.

          I have a 64 bit computer - Windows 7. After considerable trial and error - Technical support at DTN IQfeed - my data provider - suggested that I uninstall their API from Programs (86x) and reinstall it in Programs which is where the 64 bit applications are located. Even though the DTN IQfeed API is not a 64 bit application it worked to solve my problem. The charts, Order Tab and SuperDom all updated at the same time.

          I have since installed NT & v21 and everything appears to be okay at this point. Thank you for your assistance.
