pull it up on a 5 min chart and set COBC to False
open a seperate 30sec chart and set COBC to false as well

notice on the last bar of the day the difference in the lines drawn on the 2 charts

see how the 30 sec one has lines that hug the bar?

Is this a bug?

Can you please tell me the timestamp of the 30 seconds bar in question. Please tell me the timestamp of the last bar in the 5 minutes chart as well.

Does it make a difference if you reload historical data in the 30 seconds chart after midnight?

the bar in question is on the 30 s chart timestamp = 16:15:00
5 min chart timestamp =16:15
No, it doe not matter if I reload data after midnight on the 30s chart

Hello Laserdan,

I was able to reproduce it when I selected a session template (CME FX Futures RTH) in an ES chart that would end on 3 PM EST. However when I select the appropriate session template (CME US Index Futures RTH), it did not recur - the last 30 seconds bar of each session did not create new OHL values.

Can you please select the same session template and check if the issue persists.

So the instrument is ES
The instument manager is set to CME US Index Futures RTH

both charts are set to Use Instrument Settings for the session templates
so i suggest that you open a 30 s chart right before the market closes and see what happens

When I changed the session template I could not reproduce the error no matter what I tried, but this happens everyday.

My settings are as above..I will let you know when it happens again

just noticed the Timestamp on the 30 sec chart, after reloading the data shows 16:14:30

but when running live it will end at 16:15:00 per the ScreenShot in post #1

I tested it again and I can now reproduce it as well using the CME US Index Futures RTH session template.
