B20 - Instrument Manager (bug)

Beta 20, Instrument Manager.
Cannot modify name.

Reproduction steps:
1. Add a new ticker.
2. Click button "Edit..." and change the description + click "OK" ==> change visible in grid.
3. Click button "Edit..." and change the "Master Instrument" field + click "OK" ==> change NOT visible in grid (column "Name").

bmistiaen, I have been able to reproduce the behavior you've described here. As a workaround while waiting to hear back from development, you could always just delete the symbol and then re-create it.

bmistiaen, it actually does get created, the instrument manager list just doesn't get updated. After you change the Master Instrument name, please close the Instrument Manger and then re-open it and your new security should be listed.

Indeed, after re-opening the IM, it's there.
But it's added instead of changed.
Say you have a security MSFO, "edit" it and change the name to MSFT.
The result is 2 securities MSFO and MSFT.
One would expect only MSFT to be present.

Not that this is a big issue.
Just a little counter-intuitive.

bmistiaenbmistiaen, thanks for reporting - this is expected behavior though - if you change the name you effectively create a new instrument, hence it's shown on instrument manager restart or simply hitting 'search' again.
