Disabling Strategy when closing position

Hi,

I made a strategy to send alerts via E-Mail and plot symbols on the chart, but not to open or close positions.

However, if I open a position and close it again, all running strategies will disable. I am a little bit confused about that. Is there any value to set to stop disabling strategies when closing a position.

Hello Stephan,

Am I correct you close positions using the CLOSE button? If so, unfortunately it is as expected that running automated strategies will be disabled.

I suggest to close your position by manually submitting orders. For example, if you are in a short position for 1 contract, submit a buy market order for 1 contract to close it. This will not cause your automated strategies to stop.
