Proper running procedures - Best practices

Should NT be running continuously day after day when you are monitoring and doing live-trading, or is it advisable to shutdown and restart daily? I will be monitoring using custom indicators and trading using custom strategies.

Are restarts okay to do anytime (other than restarts after crashes)?

Any other "Best practice" tips?

Yes, it is advisable to restart NinjaTrader and your PC if possible at least once per day. We don't have a best practices guide - this is just a general computing tip. You can see below for additional performance tips to reduce the resource requirements of NinjaTrader.
