Historical data download requires being connected with replay market connection?

Hi,

I'm having some problems with the replay market feature. Some time ago I used a nt7 and i was able to download data from ninja servers. But yesterday I reinstalled nt7 with a newer beta (beta 20) and I cannot download data.

1. I go to Tools > Historica Data Manager and select the instrument (ES 09-10) and click download and a message pops up
"Historical data for one or more selected instruments may not be downloaded. Please ensure to first establish a connection that supports the instrument(s).

2. Then I try to connect using File > connect > "Market replay connection" and an error message says: "Login failed: There is no recorded data to replay"

I tried all other default connections and no one worked. How can I download data then? I cannot imagine more ways to try

landtax, data downloaded from the Historical Data Manager would be the tick and minute data used to populate charts. You would definitely need to be connected to a data provider to get this data.

As for the Market Replay data, you can download the saved MR files from our data server by going to File -> Utilities -> Download Replay Data. Once you've downloaded that data, you can connect to the Market Replay Connection by going to File -> Connect -> Market Replay Connection.
