SendMail() doesn't work

Hi,
I tried to configure and use SendMail() method, but testing mail setup in the Control center -> Options->Misc generates error message: Failed to send mail.

I used several smtp server accounts including the yahoo one as recommended here:

Still doesn't work.
I use NT7 build 19

corrado, could any firewall get in the way, have you tried very low filters for a test? Also: have you tried the SSL option as well for accounts supporting it?

I succeeded with the test now. I had to enter the ISP's account email address in the box "Your email address" to make it work.
