NT doesn't start

Hi,

Received this error this morning:

Unable to connect to database 'Data Source="C|Users\jblogg\Documents\NinjaTrader7\db\N injaTrader.sdf"': ObjectSpace: Connection String is Invalid- Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

I already tried renaming the sdf file under my documents with no success.

Thanks for your forum post.

Generally this can indicate you have an incorrect version of microsoft SQL server is installed on your PC. Can you please goto Control Panel and Programs on your PC and remove any Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Editions you have listed there also Remove Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable you have listed there. Then reinstall NinjaTrader with a repair reinstall and let me know if this resolves the issue.

NT has been working fine for the last 3-4 months. B19 was installed Friday and worked fine yesterday.

I un-installed and re-installed (NT) and it appears to be working fine now. After I get all the symbol lists re-loaded that is...

Hello,

I may suggest swaping back in your old database if you renamed it as in most cases the database is fine with this error. Most likely another program you installed or uninstalled mayby caused this?

Hmm... I don't think so. I didn't install/un-install anything yesterday. Got almost everything back in order now though.
