    Unable to install new verion NT 7

    When I try to remove the NinjaScript assembly it tells me that there are custom NinjaScript files on my pc that have programming errors. However, when I go to edit the Indicators or Strategies, the only ones there are the standard Ninja scripts.

    If I go ahead and install the beta version near the end it tells me it needs to rollback to the prior version.

    So, it seems I'm in a loop.

    Uninstalling NT7 and deleting the directories does not seem to fix this, so maybe there are some registry entries that are persistent.

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Turtle Trader, NinjaTrader will compile everything in the My Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/custom folder (and subdirectories) at the same time when you request a compile. If there is an error in any file, it will give you the error.

    Please make sure you remove NT7 via the Control Panel, delete the entire My Documents/NinjaTrader 7 folder, and then you should be able to reinstall successfully.

      Hello Austin,

      The only thing in those subfolders folders are Ninja files that start with an @ and also userdefinedmethods.cs, and in the main folder, what is shown on the attached screen dump.

      How should I proceed?

        Turtle Trader, please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:
        1. Close all running applications.
        2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
        3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
        4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.
        5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
        6. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
        7. Reboot your machine.
        8. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

        Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

          I forgot to mention....there is a functioning copy of NinjaTrader 6.5 on that machine also.

          I will follow your instructions tomorrow and repost.
