UpTicks and DownTicks directly as in TradeStation?

I have read that TradeStation gives you UpTicks and DownTicks directly, whereas NinjaTrader must calculate up volume and down volume the same way for both EOD and intraday data.

I am wondering if this has been changed in NT 7 so one now can get UpTicks and DownTicks directly as in TradeStation?

laurus12, you will still have to calculate up and down volume as with previous versions of NinjaTrader.

I had been hoping that with NT7 we would be able to use indicators like Barry Taylor's Better ProAm.

I have made my own professional paintbar that is very similar to Barry's Pro Am (I use my own algorithms but the results are very close). It is available for Ninjatrader here:

I agree it'd be nice to have upticks & downticks with Ninjatrader (I also use Tradestation and this is wonderful). But it's not necessary to detect professional activity.
