Zen-Fire continuous contract issue

I was noticing on a 400 tick chart the Zen-Fire NT7 continous contract on the ES wasn't updating when ES 09-10 was moving quickly. So, I quickly change my charts to ES 09-10 to stay in sync with the market action.

Is this a common problem? Is it an NT7 or Zen-Fire issue?

Hello,

Thank you for your note.

The zenfire connection does not support the continous contract so you will be unable to get live data for the continous contract. You will need to use the ES 09-10 for live market contract.

Is it possible you may have connected to another data feed provider that may have supplied this data that your seeing in the chart?

Thanks for the clarification. For some reason I thought I heard that the continous could be used for live trading thus avoiding the clutter of having to always update the instrument upon rollover (which I know isn't that tough to do especially across muliple linked windows).
