External Connection - Chart not updating

Hello:

I've been using the external - data connection in NT 7 for about a week or so and have noticed that the Charts for some reason stop updating during the afternoon session even though the DOM and the order's tab in control - center display correct data. See attached image. Is this deliberate?

Thank you for making your first form post!

The reason this occurs is due to your charts session template. Please check the session template by right clicking on your chart and then selecting Data Series. Now change the Session Template parameter to Default 24/7 to display all data.

Let me know if this gets you 24 hours worth of data in your chart. Alternatively you can use other session templates to display the data your looking for in the chart.

Thanks Brett, changing the session to 24/7 worked.

But even when my session template is set to default for YM - CME US Index Futures RTH - for Central time zone ... it does not work...is this a bug?

Hello,

Depends at what time these screenshots where taken. The chart stops displaying data at the market close with RTH or regular trading hours.

You can inspect the start and end times of these sessions for the chart by going to Tools->Session manager.
