System.IO.FileNotFoundException

Greetings!

I have been running strategy optimizations with NT7b19, and last night I made some changes in the strategy, compiled, and saved and the strategy is still being optimized as I type. NT is still responsive. I saved the strategy on a new name to do some other small changes, and with only an attempt to compile, I have the following:

'NinjaTrader.Custom': is not used in the strategy at all. There is no error section at the bottom of the strategy as there is when there are compile errors. 'NinjaTrader.Custom.dll' and 'NinjaTrader.Custom.xml are in the /bin/Custom folder with timestamps during time of compile attempts.

Jon, thanks for reporting in - so you're NS files are all compiling fine without issues? Would you see the same error after a fresh startup, so all DLL's are reloaded?

In addition, please send me your log / trace files via Help > Mail to Support so I can review them.

Thanks for the response. I have no errors reported when compiling the strategies, as far as seeing anything on the bottom of the editor window. There is a pop box that opens with the information that I included in this thread.

It might be late today before I can do a restart (after optimization is done). I will try that, I was expecting to have to restart, but I was hopes that there was another solution.

Hi Jon, are you by any chance working with the debug mode in the NinjaScript editor? Could you please ensure this is turned off and then recompile your files and recheck?

Debug is not enabled. That was an interesting potential solution! lol

Issue was resolved as soon as I aborted the optimization. I was able to do further optimization and compiles, without generating that error again, without making any other changes.
