    Strange display on chart timescale

Another odd one I stumbled across in beta 19. Note the two charts below. One is an ES 10000 volume chart, the other an ES 7500 volume chart. Both are quite vanilla: Volume and either 10000 or 7500 were selected, the template was set to CME US Index Futures ETH, trade markers were turned off, and the charts were generated. Then the charts were scrolled so future time was visible. Note that the 10000 volume chart marks the populated area as 7/27 and the future as 7/28 as expected, but the 7500 chart marks both present and future as 7/27!

I started to do a binary search to see where it switched from incorrect to correct, but, well, it got tedious and I didn't carry all the way through. Still, I saw 8250 volume still have the problem, while 8500 volume did not. (I didn't do any tests on the low end.)

    Hello MikeInMA,

Can you please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session template-->Select Default 24/5 or Default 24/7-->Click Ok. Perform this in both charts and let me know if the issue persists.

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

Well, that was interesting. I only tried your suggestion on the 7500 volume chart because that was the only one showing the symptom. First I brought up a new 7500 volume chart as described in my original post, and the symptom manifested again. Then I changed to 24/7, and the issue resolved. Then I changed to 24/5, and the issue stayed resolved. Then I changed back to CME Index Futures ETH, and the issue still stayed resolved. Finally I closed the chart and generated a new one following the same steps that showed the problem every time, and no more problem.

I'm certainly puzzled, though. How'd that problem happen? Is this a subtle and mysterious Ninja 7 issue?

Unfortunately it is hard to say what occurred exactly but glad to hear it is resolved at this time.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
