Secret Strategies?

I seem to have a couple of strategies that must have been supplied with NT7. I have not imported or written any strats in NT7. They are called 'Bishtrader 1.5' and 'Range Breakout Strategy' and I can apply them to charts.
I would like to take a look inside and see what they do, but they do not appear in 'Edit Strategy'.
Does anybody have any info about them?

Unfortunately I am not familiar with these strategies. I do not have these listed on my end in NinjaTrader 7 - these strategies are not provided by default.

Did you perhaps restore any backup files that could contain these strategies?

I searched both strategies in the our forum, however it did not list any helpful results. Nor did 'Bishtrader' when searching the web.

Sorry, I should have said that I did a Forum search myself.
I did do a restore a week or two ago, because I deleted an indicator by mistake, but I have not imported any Strats into NT7, or written any and when I originally installed NT7 I started from scratch again, (I did not move anything over from 6.5).
So its a mystery. Looks like I'm stuck with them unless I do a clean install, 'Edit Strategy' is the only place they can be deleted I think????? and they don't show in there, or as Ninjascript assemblies.

Just looked in MyDocuments\bin\custom\strategy
The sample strategies are in there, but these two are not.

Ok, so the strategies are not listed at File-->Utilities-->Remove NinjaScript Assembly either, correct?

What happens if you search your PC for 'Bishtrader 1.5' and 'Range Breakout Strategy', does it list any files?

They are not listed in 'Remove assemblies'.
Did a search for files, nothing found.
Looked in 6.5 they are not in there.

There is something there though, other than the name, if I load them I see plenty of input parameters.
If I load Bishtrader, some indicator lines appear, then I get the following message :-

Strategy ' Bishtrader 1.5/bdaa042c846148aa9344c35ae0f15b78 ' submitted an order that generated the following error 'OrderRejected'. Strategy has sent cancel requests, attempted to close the position and terminated itself.

What a busy little thing!
So there must be some code somewhere.

Unfortunately I have no idea where these strategies come from. I suggest to disregard them, since you will not use them.

You could perform an uninstall/re-install to ensure the NinjaTrader installation only contains default strategies. Let me know if you like to proceed this way.

Yes, I don't want unknown stuff like this lurking Jason. I will export my custom indicators and import them afterwards. I will ensure that everything in MyDocs and C:\Program Files is gone and delete the backups. Is there anywhere else that NT7 puts things that I don't know about?

Only places NinjaTrader has files are:

Documents\NinjaTrader 7
Program Files\NinjaTrader 7 (or wherever your install directory is)

Finally tracked these things down. They came as part of a 3rd party dll, but should not have been in there. Bit strange that removing the dll did not remove them. The vendor has now fixed it, so all OK.
