Why does NT try to get really old intraday data from IB server? For example if I were to type in the symbol: 6C 09-10, NT will try to get data for that futures contract starting around 03-05. Can I just get data for the current month that I specified, e.g. just for Sept?

Thank you for your post.
This is expected behavior. When loading an instrument within NInjaTrader you may see data being requested for dates outside your parameters in order to gather rollover information.
