BackFill Historical data from TT

According to NinjaTrader Website

NinjaTrader supposedly can backfill historical tick and minute data from TT.

I was informed that TT DOES NOT provide any historical backfill at all.

If so, how can backfill from TT be possible ?
Anyone successfully using this feature to backfill from TT ?

That is correct Trading Technologies does not provide historical data themselves. However as a courtesy NinjaTrader records data to their servers for customer use.

When connected to Trading Technologies in order to access historical Tick and Minute data you must be using a Live NinjaTrader license key. If you are using a Free simulation key you will then only receive real time data.

Then what is the source for the data that NinjaTrader records into TT's servers ?
Is it from IQFeed ?

I am asking about the source because i would like to know the exchanges where backfill is provided via TT.

Are the major Asian exchanges like SGX, HKFE, KRX, TSE, OSE, TAIFEX,NSE under coverage ?

Only the major Instruments on the US Exchanges such as Nymex, Globex, etc. will be available. In order to receive historical data for foreign exchanges you would need to connect to a provider that offers these specific exchanges.

Please answer the following questions so I may further assist:

• What version of NinjaTrader do you currently have installed which can be found under Help-->About.
• Are you showing as connected in the lower left hand corner of the Control Center
• Are you receiving data within the Orders tab of the Control Center?
• Are there any error messages in the Log tab of the Control Center?
• What time interval chart are you attempting to open?
• When you right mouse click within your chart are you able to Reload historical data or is the option grayed out?
• What instrument and expiry month are you attempting to load?
