I found out if I change the y-axis scale to automatic, it might solve the black area issue. But being able to move bars up and down as can be done in eSignal is still a deriable feature.

Can not move chart up and down freely
It seems it is still not possible to move charts up and down freely. In a strong trending day, the y-axis range would be quite large to cover both the intraday low and intraday high. When zooming in the chart to show the last hour bars, because these bars are all at one end of the range, it would results a chart with all bars in visible area are place near the top or the bottom of the chart and leave most area of the chart blank. In such scenario, y-axis zooming would not halp. For example, in the attached screenshot, the upper 2/3 of the chart is blank. If I change the y-axis scale by keeping left mouse button down and dragging the mouse to the bottom of the chart, it would only introduce more blank area and compress candlestick bars along the y-direction.
