NT not responding when resetting database

Hello,

I'm trying to delete all historical trades and executions on NT7 via Tools-->Options-->Data-->Reset DB and it freezes every time: "Not responding" - I have to end it via Task Manager.

Any other way around this?

There seems to be some trouble going on with the data feed for the simulator this week - is it only on NT7?

pepereal4, you can reset all trades and executions by going to Tools -> Options -> Simulator -> Reset.

Could you please post the trace file for today from My Documents/NinjaTrader 7/trace? The trace could help us determine what is going wrong.

There was an issue with Zen-Fire and NT7, but not with the Simulated Data Feed, which is generated locally on your own PC.

I did try resetting the simulator from within the platform but it would also freeze - but got a tip from my broker: I exited the platform and went to My Documents>NinjaTrader>db and deleted the *.sdf file.

That cleared things, though I still had some historical trades left, but was then able to reset the simulator from within the platform as well as the database and now have a clean slate, tks.
