Server 2008 Supported?

I might have missed this in the documentation for NT7 but is Server 2008 supported and if so any version restrictions? Thanks.

MXASJ, unfortunately not - we would officially support the 2003 release, however you can for sure give it a run on the fresher release as well.

You guys already know this but July 2010 was an important date for Server 2003 from a Microsoft support standpoint. I'm geting some grief from customers for an unrelated product I'm involved with that only "officially" runs on XP/2003, so if you could add "official" 2008 or 2010 support that would be great.

Hi MXASJ,

We could only officially support Windows versions we have actively tested. Unfortunately 2008 is not one of them. However some of our data servers do use 2008 thus we would not expect any issues to arise if you decide to use 2008. Hope that helps.

Thanks Josh. I'm having a go running beta 19 on Server 2008 R2 Standard. If anything pops up that looks like a platform compatability problem I'll let you know.
