strat analyzer from/to issue

Hello,

When I run the sample ma cross over strategy, on 6A 09-10, using instrument settings session template, using 1min and min bars reqd=1, from 8 jul to 8 jul, my first bar update is

08/07/2010 23:02:00

and the last is

09/07/2010 10:10:00.

When I run from 7 jul to 8 jul, the first one is

06/07/2010 23:02:00

and the last is

09/07/2010 10:10:00

and the whole of the 8th is included. The 23:02 is probably the start of the session in my timezone, but I would expect the 8->8 to start on the 7th, not the 8th. There's clearly some sort of logic going on here but I can't figure out what it is. Any ideas?

Dave, the session template used would not be split up - it would always complete the session even if this means it overlaps into the next day as you've seen here.

Hi Dave I tried reproducing but could not here - I'll try this on my other PC using your GMT timezone (correct?) - perhaps it has do with Monday being a shorter trading day due to US independence day.

My timezone is GMT (actually BST with daylight saving time)

Monday shouldn't really affect this since that was 5th July?
