    P&F chart problem

    Support,

In beta 18, I noticed the same P&F problem, that was intermittently present in beta 17. I tried to create a 6 tick reversal chart, using P&F and kept Baseperiodtype to tick, baseperiodvalue to 1,boxsize to 1, reversal to 6,price to close. Basically trying to create a 6 tick reversal chart.

But I noticed in the databox the close of every bar is either high of the bar or the low of the bar. On a reversal chart, close should never be either high or low, correct? Or do you think, I am making some obvious mistake? In beta 17, it used to work sometimes and sometimes it didn't work.

    Thanks

    Hi PatientTrader,

When did you install B18? There was a hot fix applied yesterday which may make a difference. Can you please retry downloading and updating again?

      Hi Josh,

I downloaded and installed around 12:30 am midnight EST today (like early morning today). Has there been a hotfix after that?

Can you please try a P&F 6 tick reversal chart and see if you see the same problem at your end.

      Thanks
      PatientTrader

          Josh,

Its ES 6 tick reversal chart, using P&F and with Baseperiodtype to tick, baseperiodvalue to 1,boxsize to 1, reversal to 6,price to close. Every bar shows its close is either high or low of the bar, which it shouldn't be.

          Thanks

            PatientTrader,

This is expected behavior. When you bring up the data box and look at certain columns, the box will show the information of the column. In PnF charts a column ends either at the high or low as a new column is build from a reversal.
