NT crashes on adding instruments to existing list

    Hi Guys,

    Here's what I did:

    1) Selected File -> Utilities -> Import Stock Symbol List
    2) Entered 6 Nasdaq stock symbols in separate lines (pressed Return in between)
    3) Selected "Nasdaq" as exchange and added them to a new Instrument List ("NewList")

Those Nasdaq stocks were added finely.

    4) Selected File -> Utilities -> Import Stock Symbol List
    5) Entered 2 Nyse stock symbols in separate lines (pressed Return in between)
    6) Selected "Nyse" as exchange and added them to the same new Instrument List ("NewList")

    NT crashed.

    Tracefile attached.

    Regards

    Hello noincomenojobnoassets,

I tested these steps on my end, however I did not experience a crash. I noticed you have an older beta version installed - version 7.0.0.16. Can you please upgrade to our latest beta version (7.0.0.17) as per the instructions below.

    1. Start your current NinjaTrader 7 version
    2. Within the Control Center window select File > Utilities > Remove NinjaScript Assemblies and remove every single assembly listed
    3. Uninstall NinjaTrader 7 via Windows Control Panel
    4. Delete the files of the folder /Documents/NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom (DO NOT delete the sub folders)
    5. Delete the folder C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 7 if you have a 32-bit machine OR Delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 7 if you have a 64-bit machine

You can download the latest beta version at the link below.

If the crash persist, please tell me which two stocks you entered.

      Hi Jason,

What about the error message from the trace file? Does that indicate anything?

I remember I had the session times set to "Default 24/7", maybe that is related?

      The stocks were:
Nasdaq: ICLR, MWIV, ECLP, EXBD, TNDM
      Nyse: FDO, WU.

      Regards

Unfortunately not. I tested these steps again using the exact same symbols, however I did not experience a crash. Can you please install the latest version and check if the crash persists.
