Also, when I select an object and hold down the Shift key I don't get an indication of that object's Z-Order level till I scroll the wheel. At that point am I seeing the object's original Z-Order level, or have I already changed it? If it's the latter, I think the current Z-Order value should be displayed as soon as the Shift key is pressed. (Though come to think of it that's probably not a bad suggestion regardless.)

Z-Order questions
With beta 17, I have a chart containing 1 data series and 3 indicators, all in panel 1, and panel 1 is the only panel. Shouldn't my Z-Order options be levels 1 through 4? When I scroll the mouse wheel I'm only presented with levels 1 through 3.

Hello MikeInMA,
Can you please tell me what indicators you have applied in the chart. It seems one indicator does not use any plots, since only 3 levels of Z-Order are listed.
Unfortunately this is as expected - holding the Shift key will not display the current Z-Order level. When you scroll your wheel, it will display the level you selected at that point, so not the original level.
I will forward your suggestion to display the original Z-Order level when you hit Shift to our Development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations of the software.

The basic chart is an 8 Range chart of NQ 06-10. The indicators are StdErrorSmoothV2 (plots are Lower, Lower2, Middle, Upper and Upper2); VolatilityStop (plots are Lower and Upper); and Bollinger (plots are "Lower band", "Middle band" and "Upper band"). Plot names in each case come from the Plots section of the Indicators window.

Unfortunately I do not have two indicators you mention available on my end (StdErrorSmoothV2 and VolatilityStop) to test it.
If I only apply the Bollinger indicator on my end, I list 4 levels of Z-Order, since the Bollinger itself uses 3 plots. Can you please check if it works the same on your end if you only apply the Bollinger indicator.
Are these two indicators custom or 3rd party indicators?

If I only add Bollinger to a chart and then click on any of the three plots from Bollinger, all three plots are highlighted with black squares. I'm then presented with two possible Z-Order levels. And that seems correct, since I have one data series and one indicator, and I've never seen it work differently. Are you, perhaps, using unreleased code that lets you manage every plot individually? If not, this just got a whole lot more interesting....

I am not able to select an individual plot of the Bollinger - it highlights all three plots. However I did not see I had two drawing objects applied from before the weekend. These caused the 4 levels in total. When only the Bollinger indicator is applied, 2 Z-Order levels are available.
I applied the 3 indicators you mentioned, however I display 4 Z-Order levels on my end.

Well, I have a workspace containing one chart, that one chart contains one data series and three indicators, and that chart only offers me three Z-Order levels. And that's true even if you can't reproduce it. (What is, is possible, right?) So is there some way for you to get under my specific chart's hood to see what the deal is?

If I create a new chart and add the three indicators I get four Z-Order levels. However, the chart I have with four objects and only three levels means it's possible for Ninja to get into a state it's not supposed to get into, even if I can't reproduce it. That means there must be a bug in there somewhere, which means it will happen again. I'd think someone would like to dissect my chart....
