Drawing object on panel displaying volume

On beta version 17, not able to draw a horizontal line on a panel containing the standard VOL indicator. Have always been able to do so on previous versions of NT.

    Hello dsfalc,

Can you please create a new chart and check again. When I test it on my end, I am able to draw horizontal lines as expected. See screenshot.

If the issue remains, can you please tell me what kind of chart you have opened. What instrument is selected, period type, etc.

Hi Jason, I've created a new chart and can reproduce the same issue -- though there is a little more detail that is relevant.

It is fine when I create a basic chart and vol in a lower panel - I can add a horizontal line at that stage.

However if I add VOLMA to the volume - then the horizontal line dissapears - and I am not able to add another line to the panel.

      Thanks.

Unfortunately I still cannot reproduce it. I applied a horizontal line before adding the VOLMA. Once the VOLMA was added, the horizontal line remained and I was able to draw an additional horizontal line as well.

Does the issue persist if you create a brand new chart via File-->New-->Chart?
If so, can you please tell me what beta version you have installed. You can check this at Help-->About.

If you have version 7.0.0.17, please wait for the next beta version and check again. I am currently testing in the next beta version, however it has not been released publicly yet.

Hi Jason, thanks for testing. Yes, I did create a new chart via File-->New-->Chart. Will do as you suggest and report back about the next beta version.

BTW: I'm running the 32 bit version on Vista 64.

          Thanks.
