    Hi,
Could someone get a Custom Dll under bin/Custom
    and applied to another computer?
    Thanks

What are you trying to do so that I may further assist, not sure I understand what your asking or what your trying to do.

    Thank You.

      Hi Brett,
I wonder if when you export a script as a custom dll,
if someone copies this dll into another computer
into bin/Custom would the script be functional,

        Hello,

Yes this should be possible, you would need to add the reference in NinjaTrader however manually once you place the file there. Once the file has been placed there restart NinjaTrader and then goto Control Center->Tools->Edit NinjaScript->Indicator->Any Indicator selected and select Edit-> Right click on the code editor->select References->Add the reference to the file you just added and then select ok and then right click again in the code editor and select compile.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

          Hi Brett,

          thank you on this.

Now, if you want to forbid anyone on doing this (copy the dll to another computer and run the scripts) , how could you accomplish this? (i.e. require a pass to copy or load
          and reference)

            Hello,

This would need to be done through locking down your code.

Please see this following section of the help guide:

              Hi Brett,
with the RemoteSoft software, would someone require the password
you used to lock the assembly, in order to import the assembly in another computer?

                Hello,

RemoteSoft is a Obfuscation Technique that makes it extremely hard to reverse engineer your DLL file, as to how it works I would recommend taking a look at the RemoteSofts website below. As far as using a password or license key to do this you would need to custom code in your own license server and password/lock in the NinjaScript or use the NS Vendor licensing, in which case you would need to meet the minimum requirements to become a third party partner.

                    Hello,

The only way that is supported to do this is through licensing.

We do not offer a way to password protect source code with a simple password though NinjaTrader without using Vendor Licensing.
