    Bug Report - Enabling Strategies

    Hi,

The following bug occurs when you enable multiple strategies:

If have two or more strategies with different data series, and you highlight those strategies simulaneously to "enable" them, then all strategies will revert to the data series time frame of the very first strategy you selected.

    I.e.

    Strategy 1 is 100 ticks
    Strategy 2 is 200 ticks
    Strategy 3 is 300 ticks

Highlighting all 3, starting from Strategy 1 as your first click, and choosing "enable" will cause all strategies to revert to 100 ticks. Conversely, if you start by clicking Strategy 3 to highlight and enable all 3, all 3 strategies will have a 300 tick time frame.

In fact, this behavior goes further:

If you load up an entire series of strategies, then you proceed to change the data series time frame of just one (say, from 100 ticks to 200 ticks), enabling a totally separate strategy will change the time frame of that separate strategy to the time frame you just changed of the prior strategy.

    I.e.

Strategy 1 data series is 100 ticks
Strategy 2 data series is 200 ticks

Change Strategy 2 data series to 150 ticks.

Enable Strategy 1...strategy 1 data series changes to 150 ticks.

      And lastly:

This only happens the very FIRST time you add strategies (both behaviors).

If you add strategies, make all data series adjustments and never enable those strategies...then you exit NT while saving - when you re-enter, highlight all strategies and enable them, their data series won't change.

Thanks for reporting in cgeorgan - we'll check into this area.

I was unfortunately not able to reproduce this behavior - so you add for example SampleMACross 3 times on the ES Sep 100, 200 and 300 tick, then select them all from the top down and right click on the top of the 'enabed' column to batch enable them all? Then you would see the DataSeries field being changed to 100 tick for all 3, are those the correct steps to follow to see this happen?

          Thanks
