Chart Markers disappear

My chart markers keep disappearing. They come back when I hit F5.

when I hit f5 if the markers are off screen they don't appear (when I scroll back they're not there). if I have the chart where the markers should be then they appear when I hit f5.

after the chart scrolls a few bars where the markers are off screen then they disappear.

Can you please verify if these markers are caused by an automated strategy or did the orders actually occur in real-time during a previous session?

F5 will reload the NinjaScript files you have applied in the chart.

Please right click in the chart and select 'Data Series'. Check what setting is used for 'Plot executions'. Please set it to TextAndMarker or MarkersOnly and check if the chart displays historical executions.

They are markers from my ATM trading. I have it set to markers only.

I think it's a bug because they only appear if I hit f5 where the markers should be visible.

Ok, so these orders actually occurred in real-time during a prior session, correct?

Can you please create a brand new chart via File-->New-->Chart. Set 'Plot executions' to MarkersOnly and select the same instrument. Subsequently enable ChartTrader and make sure the same account is selected and check if the markers are displayed in the chart as expected.

The chart markers are from trades taken today so same session.

Did it make a difference when you create a new chart?

They don't seem to disappear on a new chart. I'll keep an eye on it. Restart ninja later..

I think maybe they're getting drawn as soon as there is a new bar. Maybe me hitting F5 wasn't necessary?

F5 will reload NinjaScript files in a chart. It should not have any effect on the display of trade markers.

Historical trade markers will be displayed as soon as you open the chart and 'Plot executions' is set to MarkersOnly.

I think I have not made myself clear.

I place some trades and see my markers.

Once those markers scroll off the chart, I then maximize the chart and the markers are not there. As soon as a new bar is drawn on the chart or a second later (I'm not sure which cause I'm using a very fast tick chart) the markers are redrawn. so it appears to be an issue with the redrawing. I do not think it's a bug as long as they're drawn relatively quickly.

I see, when I maximize the chart, it displays the markers as expected.

Perhaps you experience such a delay because you have many processes running on your PC that use a lot of RAM and CPU?

in fact they're redrawn when I click on the chart. my pc is running fine CPU is at 10%. I think they just redraw based on some gui even like a mouse click. so it's not a problem.
