SSD Drive and Ninja Trader

I am thinking of getting an SSD drive and was wondering what configuration will help NT work faster live.

(1) Saving the historic and live data on the SSD Drive seem to be my best options. For all practical purposes it means that the C:/Users/$USER/Documents/NT7/.. folder needs to be relocatable to a folder on the SSD Drive. I tinkered around but was not sure whether there is an option available to relocate this folder on to a different drive. Is it possible to relocate this?

(2) This is more of an enhancement suggestion, but it would be great if we could partition the data-storage into two units. The first one for more recent data (say 1 month) which resides on the SSD cache drive. The second one for historical data which resides in the regular hard disk. My NT folder is about 5GB and I only trade a limited set of futures. A periodic cache-maintenance job can relocate the data and keep the cache disk usage controlled.

Any other thoughts on this?

Unfortunately this is not supported. Please leave the folders at their original locations to avoid issues.

I will forward your suggestion to divide data storage to our Development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations of the software.
