    memory usage high with beta17

With beta17, I notice that the memory usage is really high. Typically it seems to end up using almost 800MB-900MB. Normally I have one market analyzer window (with nasdaq list), one chart and a bunch of indicators loaded. If I leave the SW running for an entire day the memory usage is at the high end, around 1GB.

With beta16, the memory usage was not as much - around 400-500MB.

Is there any configuration that I should check or missing something?

    Thanks.

You're doing well at 900MB. I seem to have a base line at 1.25GB.

      Hi sagargv,

      Thank you for your post.

A lot of the memory usage is going to be dependent on how the indicators are configured. Please review the following link and see if you can change the settings of the indicators to reduce memory usage.

Also, can you please let us know which data provider you are using, and how the Market Analyzer is configured.

And Shannon can you please provide that same information, and some details regarding your workspace setup.

yes have configured some of the settings in the mem optimization webpage.
Using TDAmeritrade as data source. Market Analyzer has the following columns:
bid, ask, close, VolUpDown, DailyVolume, SMA(Vol, 20).

        thanks.

          Hi sagargv,

          Thank you for that clarification.

Can you please let me know how many instruments are added to the Market Analyzer, as well as the settings for that SMA indicator column, and the VolumeUpDown column.
