When you optimize, Please put the Status Updates and Abort icon on the Optimization Screen. We are working on this screen. Based on the limitation of the grid display, we pretty much have to maximize the Optimization screen...then move or minimize it to see the Control Center, then move the Control Center out of the way again to see the Optimization Screen.
If you can't easily move the status...consider, setting focus to the Optimization Screen when finished, or at least Tell Us when its finished.
A better touch would be to have an option to list the best results in the requested order on the Optimization Grid as they are calculated.
About 40% to 50% of the time, when you hit the Abort key, it closes the optimization windows, but does not stop the optimization thread...so you have to hit the Abort key a couple more times.
