How to access the Ninjascripts editor in NT7

I can't find the editor in NT 7, it is not listed under tools. Where did you hide it?

Wi!s0n, the editor has not been moved or hidden. What type of license are you using with NinjaTrader? The free live trading license available through some brokers does not allow for editing of NinjaScripts. Have you been able to use the editor with your current license in the past?

Yes, I have a live license from my broker, Mirus. I have been able to edit some scripts until I recently added my live license. What do I need to do to view the editor?

Wi!s0n, is it a free live license? If so, then that would be expected behavior. We'll need to take a look at your actual license in order to find out. Could you send us your license key to support <at> ninjatrader <dot> com attn: ticket 330421?

If it is the free license, you'll need to upgrade to any pay license and you'll get the editing ability back.

There is a simple workaround until we figure out what is going on: you can switch which license key you're using by going to Help -> License Key and then putting in the simulation key when you need to edit code.
