Problem or ? with NT7 B17 about charting.

1- I have black background chart, using candlestick (green & red), if I set the
"candle outline" to black color and if the candle is a doji (opening and close is same price) then I would not have any line showing the opening, it would be black line which is the same as background color. Any help I would be appreciated .

2- If I have two panels on a chart and want to adjust the chart's height by moving the price column and then reset that by double click on price column, when I maximize, minimize or restore down it, the chart won't back to original size automatically, it 'll show the bottom panel (2nd panel) only and I have to put the mouse on the separated line hold down the left click and drag it down in order to see the first panel. Any help on that?

    Hi Allen,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) This would be expected if both the background and the candle outline are black. You will need to select another color for the doji bars to be visible.

2.) Not sure that I'm following here - are you saying that the panel is re-sized when maximizing the chart, but only after making changes to chart scaling?

1- I think it would be possible to have a different color for the opening price.
      2- Yes.

        Hi Allen,

1.) This is not possible by default, but could be accomplished through custom programming. If you are not a programmer, any of the NinjaScript consultants listed at the following link could code this project for you: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/pa...injaScript.htm

2.) I am not yet able to replicate this behavior.
Can you provide me with a set of step-by-step instructions that can be used to cause this to occur on my end?

Sorry for delay, look at the attachment that's what I get after:

          1- Scaling the chart.
2- Reset the scaling to default.
3- Minimize, maximize or restore down the chart.

Then I manually bring down the panel 1 in order to see it.

            Hi Allen,

1.) In step 1, which panel is being modified? (MACD or the Instrument)

2.) In step 2, when you say return the axis to default - do you mean that you are enabling 'automatic' scaling?

              1- Instrument panel.
              2- Yes to 'automatic' scaling.
