    Trendline in indicator panel

The trendlines in indicator panel do not attach to one instrument even it says so in properties. trendline stays after switching to another instrument.

    Hello vjland,

Lines drawn in an indicator panel are not displayed when I select a different instrument in the same chart on my end.

Can you please tell me what indicator you have applied in your chart and what initial instrument is selected in the chart. Please tell me what instrument you subsequently select in the chart as well.

Are you able to produce this behavior consistently? If so, please provide me the exact steps you perform.

I use RSI, and used "line" tool. After i drew the line, i double check the line property make sure it is attached to the instrument (and the time frame), then I use keyboard command (or link from market analyzer) to change instrument. the line always stay there. I am able to produce this constantly with no exception.

I am able to reproduce the issue using these steps as well. Only when you switch instruments in the chart via the Market Analyzer, the line will remain in the chart.

Can you please create a new chart and change the instrument in the chart itself instead of via the Market Analyzer. The issue should now not persist, correct?

        Thank you for reporting.

Unfortunately this as expected behavior. The Line object is related to the indicator and not the instrument, so it will remain to be displayed in the chart upon switching instruments.

But in line property, the option is to attach the line to this instrument and indicator, this is where i got confused.

I can see how it could be confusing. The representation of the indicator, such as CCI(ES 09-10 (1 Min), 14) means that the CCI is using the 1 Minute ES 09-10 as input.
