Indicator column in market analyzer

The calculation of the indicator is different with the same indicator (same parameters) on chart reading. I used stochastic for example.

Were you using the exact same session templates / bars to load in your test when comparing?

In market analyzer, there is no session template to choose. I only looked at time frame and indicator parameters.

Please right click in the Market Analyzer to enter its properties, you can then align the session template used with the one you've got on your charts.

I coded some indicators for use in the Market analyzer. It works so far.
But there is a difference in the results when I use "use instrument setting" or 24/7. The Market isn't closed while testing.
1. Is "use instrument setting" not includes in 24/7?

There is a Parameter named "# of Bars to load" when I add an indicator column and in the Market Analyzer Properties window.
2. Whitch of them is the actual Parameter?
What is the deeper meaning of asking this parameter twice?

1. "Use instrument settings" is a different session template than Default 24/7. Depending on the instrument, it would have different hours and different hours means it will calculate differently than 24/7 depending on your code.

2. There is a "master" setting one in the Market Analyzer properties window. The one on the column is a secondary one if you wanted to override the setting for that particular column.

1. OK thanks. I now use the instrument settings.
But I still wonder why in the case that my session template includes exact all the trading hours of the instrument, there could be a real difference between "use instrument settings" and 24/7. There can't be extra data or data differences for the calculation.

I don't see the "F" button at price axis.

1. Please right click on the Y Axis scale to check if the chart is really in fixed scale, or if there's an object included in the autoScale range range which would produce this behavior.

2. For the Market Analyzer - are both charts and MA are set to use the same CalculateOnBarClose setting?

Yes. calculate on bar close all set to False for both market analyzer and chart indicator.

OK. i made the mistake. i plot "Average" in market analyser instead of plotting "default", now the calculation is very close to each other.

Ok, great - just checked here and got exact values if all settings are the same, for example on INTC daily 50 bars back on both MA and Chart.
