    Upgrading to NT7 16 problems

    I was running NT7 15 and have been trying to upgrade to 16. Initially I managed to get 16 installed however when I tried to import compatible strategy script ninja complained that I had incomaptible scripts still present. I wenthrough and eventually deleted the Documents/Ninja 7 directory.

    Now when I try to enter the licence key it keeps saying that it cannot verify the licence, please try again later. It has been doing this since sunday. In my latest attempt I downloaded as though I had never had ninja installed on the machine at all. It sent me the free key but rather than enter the free key I entered my purchased key. It still came back with unable to verify licence.

    Is there some server address that needs to be updated to enable the licence to be verified.

    jacsys, sounds like an ISP issue reaching our license servers - do you have perhaps another connection as backup where you could try the verification on?

      Hello Bertrand, on the same network is my laptop running version 7.0.0.15 happily. I did try using a different newtork connection as you suggetsed through my mobile phone with the same result. I am able to browse to this forum site without any problems. Is there a config file or registry setting that has been mucked up by me deleteing the document directory or something. I tried installing 6.5 with the same result. 7.0.0.15 was running on this desktop happily.

        Hi jacsys, if 6.5 and Beta 16 are giving your the same issue it's likely the network / firewall / security software setup for this PC, have you tried lowering filter rules / levels to the min. before restarting NT?

          Hello Bertrand,

          On the last tests I did through the mobile phone network I turned the firewall off for the length of the test. Can you advise the IP address of the licence server to see if I can ping it from this machine. Failing that would a backdoor code enable me to get up and running on this machine again?

              Hello Bertrand, After downloading 7.0.0.17 I have now been able to log in again and am now on 17.

              The problem has gone the way of 16!
