Markers and text

Running NT 7 v 16 question.
What are the rules of when markers and text are no longer available for charts. IE this AM I had trades both real and simulated in the 6E. The trades appear in the control center Orders, executions and in the account performance. But I can not find them on the charts. I have reloaded templates to some charts and I have changed assets from 6E to TF and back and now I can not get any text and Markers. Is the changing of the asset making them unavailable or is it the loading of a different template or if not those what ???

Dean,

Changing instruments would not make them disappear. Loading templates could be the cause if your template has the Plot Executions setting set to DoNotPlot. Please open up the Data Series dialogue window and scroll down on the right hand side and ensure Plot Executions is set to TextAndMarkers.

They are back

Dont know what I did but now the makers and text are back... But I would appreciate an answer to my question please.

As mentioned, the markers and text will only disappear should you have the setting for Plot Executions set to DoNotPlot. If you have DoNotPlot saved in some of your templates then loading those templates will change your setting to such resulting in the behavior you have seen.

There are only two ways to remove them.

1. Clear your account so you simply don't have those trades any more.
2. Use DoNotPlot to just not see them
