Bug in AutoHide / SetAsDefault / Optimizations

When trying to run optimizations, if you leave the optimization properties box in what you call "Auto Hide", you can right click & "Set Default For xxx". If you "UN-Auto Hide", you will not be able to "Set Default For xxx"...until you "AutoHide" it again.

ALSO:

There should be a way to set the values in a Master Optimization Properties Box.
That way, all the COMMON settings will appear instead of whatever defaults happen to appear when you try to start an optimization. Currently, we need to print off the settings and for each and every system...check every setting to make sure it matches previous settings. If you just miss 1 setting (that should have been saved as a default), the entire backtest is bogus & must be rechecked / rerun / etc., until we find what happened since the last test.

Can you please tell me what NinjaTrader 7 version you have installed. You can check this at Help-->About. Make sure you have NinjaTrader 7.0.0.16 installed.

When I test it on my end I can right click and select 'Set Default For XXX' while 'Auto Hide' is disabled.

In addition, I will forward your suggestion regarding a Master Optimization Properties Box' to our development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations of the software.

Version 15. I am installing 16 right now...
The exact same 3 problems occur with version 16.

Do the following:

File,New,Strategy Analyzer, Select Instrument, Select 'O' for Optimizer.

* Select the "Auto Hide" icon
Move the Optimize Parameter box to the middle of the screen
Now try to right click anywhere to get the "Set Default For..." prompt.
*** No Prompt will appear

* Move the Optimize Parameter box back into its starting place.
*** NOTE: It now changes original shape to Horizonal instead of Vertical
Now try to right click anywhere and you Can Get the "Set Default For..." prompt.

* With it in the Invalid Horizonal position, Select the "Auto Hide" icon again
*** NOTE: the Optimization Parameter box 'basically' disappears.
It should be Vertical in the same location where it started. The "Auto Hide" / Optimize Tab has moved to the far left of the screen above the "On The Fly", "Default", and other instruments listing.
You must click on the Optimize tab & do come manipulations to get the HORIZONAL version to show again.
