    painted bars needed feature

i am using multiTime features, i have 1min & 3min on my mine chart, i use many indicators.

    problem:
every few restarts of the application (nt7) the bars are painted in a different order than before.

    point:
if i have the 3min bars which tend to be longer in the back with the 1min painted over the top so i can see the action of the third 1min bar on top of the 3min bar. but because nt decides in which order to paint the bars i have to change the order of the time frame in the data series, which than means i have to change the indicators too.

    solution:
let the users decide in which order the time frames are painted on the chart, so i could set as default, 3min to be painted first with 1min painted second, which would mean they would always be on top. and i would not have to change the the data series nor the indicators either.

    thanks

    jupiejupe,

When you select a series you can choose the z-ordering it will be on. To do this select the series and then hold SHIFT and then scroll your mouse wheel up/down to change the z-order of the series you have selected. This can also be applied to other chart objects like drawing tools.

to be clear select the series, as if i were to right click on a chart, then click on data series, and then follow your instructions? because that has no effect for me, with a mouse or with my track pad. holding "shift" has no effect.

so do you have another solution?

Right. I meant selecting the series by left clicking on it in the chart itself. You will then see black selection dots throughout the series and then holding shift + mouse wheel up/down will adjust the z-order for the object.
